We sell lovely Macaws in Thailand. Before you buy a Macaw from us (or anyone else) though, please take into consideration that these beautiful animals often live up to 70 years in captivity, and become VERY attached to their owners. So before you buy a Macaw in Thailand please read this.
10 things you need to know BEFORE you buy a Macaw!
1- Parrots can live to be 50-70 years old in captivity
Depending on how old you are when you by your Macaw, there is a very good chance it can live longer than you. So buying a Senegal quite often really is a life-long commitment. Is this something you are ready for? Who will care for your Cockatoo after you have gone?
2- Parrots become very "attached" to their owners.

3- Macaws can fly away and get lost
The chances for a Macaw that flies away and gets lost, to survive in the wild, are almost zero percent. While there is a very slim chance that he/she could survive, it is more likely to starve, or be eaten by a predator.
4- It may be very difficult to take your Macaw with you if/when you leave Thailand.
